Will the Z71 package for the all-new 2021 Suburban and Tahoe be rebranded as the Trailboss model for both the affordable Custom and high volume LT trim levels?
We’ve had two Z/71 Tahoes. Ours now, is 2012. My Bride loves them. Our 2006 was plauged with ABS module problems. GM told us to go PEE up a rope. Cost us a ton of money to fix. It however was never really “Fixed”. The 2012 has not had those problems YET! GM has to make the module easier to get too. They are mounted on top of the frame rail under the drivers seat. Almost impossible to work on. Our older Tahoes, had them under the hood. Hope GM puts the next Generation Tahoe ABS system where it can be worked on. Just sayin’
Common ailment, and like you said – not easily relaced. I have a 2001 with that issue. A rebuilt is the quickest solution. There’s a cottage industry to provide those replacement units.
My only wish is that you were able to get the trailer brake control option with this package. As the Z/71 package does solve one of my biggest concerns with this generation, the super low front bumper clearance.
What’s up with Z71 4×4 if AT4 is all terrain 4×4 that’s only on pickup trucks ?
