2020 Chevrolet Silverado HD Exterior Colors: First Look

The online configurator for the all-new 2020 Chevrolet Silverado HD is live, giving us our first look at the new heavy-duty pickup truck’s color palette. In all, the new heavy-duty pickup is available in nine exterior colors, including three gloss options, four metallics, and two pearlescents.

The colors include:

  • Iridescent Pearl Tricoat
  • Red Hot
  • Northsky Blue Metallic
  • Silver Ice Metallic
  • Summit White
  • Black
  • Shadow Gray Metallic
  • Oxford Brown Metallic
  • Cajun Red Tintcoat

Most 2020 Chevrolet Silverado HD colors are included in the price of the all-new truck, with the exception of Cajun Red Tintcoat and Iridescent Pearl Tricoat, which come at additional costs of $495 and $995, respectively.

  1. Still too many dark colors. Designers need to look over the colors of the 60’s and early 70’s. Mostly light metallic colors that some hardly look dirty. Light greens and blues can barely find from any manufacturer except Honda.

While the tiny headlights might look great on something like the 2019 Chevrolet Blazer.. it doesn’t really look right on the 2020 Chevrolet Silverado; the Silverado is in third place behind the Ford F150 and RAM, it’s time for Chevrolet to shake things up and go with a complete redesign of the Silverado with participation with all designers within General Motors.
