Interested customers can now spec the new 2020 Chevrolet Silverado HD on Chevy’s official online configurator, providing a look at the all-new pickup’s latest options and pricing info
The configurator is currently limited to 2500HD and 3500HD Chevrolet Silverado models with a Single-Rear-Wheel and Crew Cab configuration. The 3500 Dual-Rear-Wheel (DRW) option, Double Cab and Regular Cab are currently not offered on the configurator, given that they will launch later on in the model year.
However, customers can select either the standard bed, which measures in at six feet and 10 inches, or the even longer eight-foot bed. Going for the longer bed adds an additional $200 to price.
Listed from entry-level to most-expensive, available trim levels for the 2020 Chevrolet Silverado HD include the WT, LT, Custom, LTZ, and High Country.
Engine options include the 6.6L Duramax turbo-diesel L5P V8, which produces 445 horsepower at 2,800 rpm and 910 pound-feet of torque at 1,600 rpm, all of which is routed through the GM-designed and Allison-branded 10-speed automatic transmission. There is currently no pricing information listed for the Power Take-Off option for the 10-speed transmission, which will also be offered later on for the 2020 model year.
Alternatively, buyers can elect the all-new 6.6L V8 L8T gasoline engine, which is mated to the GM six-speed 6L90 automatic transmission and produces 401 horsepower at 5,200 rpm and 464 pound-feet of torque at 4,000 rpm.

Moving over to the optional packages list, the popular Z71 pack is offered for just $325 and adds the usual “lite” off-road goodies, including skid plates, new tires, new suspension spec, and hill descent control. The Technology Package can be had for $1,875, and adds a Head-up display, HD Surround Vision, Rear Camera Mirror, and Bed View Camera.
