The updated 2020 Buick Enclave has made its debut today and along with it has come a new Sport Touring equipment package for the crossover.
General Motors says the Enclave Sport Touring provides “a bold, monochromatic take on Enclave style that radiates confidence.”
The Enclave Sport Touring, referred to by GM as the ‘ST package’, will come with a sporty-looking grille with a body-color outline, ‘Sport Touring’ liftgate badging and 20-inch machined-face aluminum alloy wheels with contrasting Satin Graphite accents. It is offered in the Enclave Essence trim level only, which sits above the entry-level Preferred trim but under the Premium and Avenir trims. It is available on Enclave Essence models with FWD and AWD as well.
Powering all Enclave Sport Touring models will be GM’s naturally aspirated 3.6-liter LLT V6 engine, which is rated at 310 horsepower and 266 pound-feet of torque. The American automaker says the engine, paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission, “delivers spirited performance fitting of the Sport Touring’s flowing exterior design.”
“For the 2020 model year, we’re upping the comfort with available massaging seats, bringing in a new and different look for customers with Sport Touring and enhancing our in-vehicle technology to provide more of what these customers want,” Buick and GMC’s global vice president of marketing, Phil Brook, said in a prepared statement.
Two new exterior colors will also be available on the 2020 Buick Enclave and Enclave Sport Touring models: Champagne Gold Metallic and Dark Moon Blue Metallic. Range-topping Enclave Avenir models have also received a new Rich Garnet Metallic exterior color as well.
The 2020 Buick Enclave has been priced from $41,195 USD. GM says the crossover will begin to arrive in dealerships later this summer.

Glad to see them adding more colors and features, especially the massaging seats! Also excited to see this car in Dark Moon Blue, as it is one of my favorite colors GM offers.
The key to this is to provide the same sport suspension as the Denali and XT has. The addition of the sport setting is very dramatic and really changes the vehicle in Sport Mode.
I see a stiffening of the shocks and struts. The steering gets faster and the transmission is firmer. It also puts the power 60% rear 40% front it drives more like a touring sport sedan than a FWD SUV.
A more powerful engine option with 350hp would go along well with this new touring package.
Nice looking no doubt. Although I bark a lot about sport stuff (mostly on Cadillac’s), I do like how they look. I also like a nice looking rim. Because this Buick has such a nice ride quality already, I’m sure this sport ST package will not diminish that. But even if it does, they still offer the more luxury trims. I think this is a good move by Buick.
Kind of makes me think back to the T-type Buicks of years ago. They had a nice look, aggressive designs and handled quite well without being too firm. Back then, the T-type Buicks were some sleepers!
I’m not a SUV driver, but Buick did a really good job in redesigning this.
A great looking SUV, and the Sport Touring Package just enhances an already
good looking family hauler.
Needs more than the garden variety 3.6. Why GM is being so stingy with the 3.0TT? God forbid this CEO make something fun for a change.
One more thing:
Plus, it looks like it comes with a couple free bicycles. Pretty cool.
A great marketing strategy 🙂
Why is the torque of this motor so low? It would be a complete different experience if it had 100 more pound-feet.
Can you disable the start/stop on this car? They added the disable feature to the 2020 Blazer. Did they add it to the Enclave?
Good News! My 14′ Enclave will be ready for trade in next model year. I agree with Joe, the 3.0 TTC V-6 would be a better option. The 3.6 Ltr HO V-6 is a solid engine but I would like to have a little more torque. Scott nailed it with his positive comments about improved suspension and handling. Why isn’t this package available on the Premium model? Or will this be just an incomplete appearance package like GM has done on other models?
I see Opel too much in this new Buick Enclave. I like the previous facelifted generation better than this fat blob of a whale on wheels, but I am like General Motors’ making the brand appealing to younger customers with the sporty trim. I wish the company would add more horsepower even if it is a measly 320 horsepower and 310 lbs. ft. of torque.
Why is it that GM holds back on the good stuff for it’s customer forcing them to go elsewhere for what they really want.GM pay attention Dodge has performance sedans and SUV . Ford has offered turbo V6 engines in it’s sedans ,SUV and pickup if your going to and a sport model give us the option of having power to go with it.
