Mid-Engine C8 Corvette Reveal Event Tickets Being Auctioned

So you want to see the mid-engine 2020 Chevrolet C8 Corvette revealed in California. We have good news.
The National Corvette Museum is auctioning off a pair of tickets on eBay that will get two people into the reveal event set to take place in Orange County, California. All proceeds will go to the NCM, which is a non-profit organization. And, hey, the final sale price will also be tax deductible, too.
Included with the two tickets are overnight lodging for the night of July 18, access to both days of the reveal, planned festivities, a group lunch, and a tour of a local automotive museum. Bus transportation will also be included for both days to the reveal site and you’ll look the part with the exclusive Corvette reveal polo given to attendees.
The only catch is the winning bidder must provide their own transportation to Orange County, California. Airfare, train tickets, or a rental car—whatever way you choose to get there—is not included with the package.
The reveal event is perhaps one of the most widely anticipated reveals of the year within the automotive circuit. It will finally realize so many engineers’ dreams of taking the Chevrolet Corvette and turning it into a mid-engine sports car. We expect to see an upgraded 6.2-liter LT1 V8 power the base car expected at the reveal before other DOHC V8 engines are sprinkled in for different variants. Eventually, the lineup is rumored to include a hybrid variant with an all-wheel-drive system and somewhere around 1,000 horsepower.
However, it will all start with the first car shown in less than one month. As of this writing, the going price for the tickets is $6,600.
