The grand prize winner of the UAE market “Buy an Icon, Win a Legend” competition was handed over the keys of the custom 1973 Chevrolet Silverado. The competition was put together to mark Chevrolet’s 100-year anniversary building trucks.
When the 2018 Chevrolet Silverado was put into market in the UAE, Chevrolet Middle East launched 100 special edition units, each numbered to mark their exclusivity. Every customer who purchased the truck through UAE dealers was given the opportunity to enter the contest. The winner, Mr. Khalid Mahmood Abdulrazq Mohammad Belselah, will be adding a classic (and fully restored) 1973 Chevrolet Silverado to his personal lineup.

GM continues its strong presence in the Middle East truck market with exclusive variants of the 2019 Chevrolet Silverado, such as the Regular Cab Trail Boss and RST. The market has strong demand for American pickups relative to its size and customers’ unique tastes allow them to cater to them accordingly with the aforementioned Regular Cab trucks.
