Chevrolet Rebate Takes $2,000 Off All-New Blazer In June 2019

Chevrolet Blazer sales totaled 3,023 units in the first quarter of 2019, with the results representing a timeframe with limited production volume and associated availability, and a lack of nationwide advertising. And now, in what appears to be part of GM’s launch strategy for the new midsize crossover, a Chevrolet rebate takes $2,000 off most 2019 Blazer models in June 2019.
The Incentive
The nationwide Chevrolet rebate on the all-new 2019 Blazer is as follows: $2,000 cash allowance.
Potential buyers should note that the above Chevrolet rebate is not applicable to base L models. In addition, it’s worth noting that the rebate is not exclusive to Current Competitive Owners. By comparison, the Blazer incentive for April 2019 was only for owners of competing makes.
For reference, here are the applicable 2019 Blazer trim levels and their corresponding starting MSRPs:
- Blazer 1LT – $33,495
- Blazer 2LT – $34,495
- Blazer 3LT – $38,695
- Blazer RS – $41,795
- Blazer Premier – $43,895
As such, the $2,000 Chevrolet rebate reduces the starting price of the 2019 Blazer RS to $39,795, while that of the Blazer 1LT drops to $31,495.

About Chevrolet Blazer
The Chevrolet Blazer is a mid-size crossover utility vehicle (CUV). It is currently Chevrolet's second-biggest CUV, slotting between the compact Chevrolet Equinox and full-size Chevrolet Traverse. The current model was introduced for the 2019 model year and represents the fifth generation of the Blazer nameplate, which dates back to 1969. The model rides on the regular-wheelbase variant of the GM C1 platform shared most directly with the second-gen GMC Acadia and first-gen Cadillac XT5. The long-wheelbase variant of the same platform is shared with the Chevrolet Traverse, Buick Enclave, and Cadillac XT6.
The 2019 Blazer flaunts attention-grabbing exterior design, seamlessly integrated customer-focused technologies and superb functionality. Many of the exterior and interior design elements are borrowed from the sixth-generation Camaro.
The 2019 Blazer range consists of four trim levels, including the base L, three mid-tier Blazer trim levels (consisting of three LT trims), the sporty Blazer RS and the range-topping Blazer Premier trim. New technology offered on the 2019 Blazer includes capless fuel fill, HID headlights, LED daytime running lights, and a Cargo Management System.Â
Under the hood are two engine options: the base 2.5L I4 LCV and the optional 3.6L V6 LGX. Both motors are mated to the GM 9-speed automatic transmission. Pricing starts at the $29,995.
The Chevrolet Blazer is built at the GM Ramos Plant by GM Mexico.

GM has the exact same pricing strategy as Kohl’s or CVS; ridiculous sticker prices followed by fire sale discounts, sending the message to customers that they are getting some great deal. All they really are doing is bringing prices down to realistic levels.
In the process though, GM gets bad press up front for their high MSRPs and then bad press again for having to issue huge rebates to move the products. To add insult to injury, the bean counters cut feature and luxury content to the bare bones and STILL price the products as if they are class-leading.
I agree with your point about cutting features to the bones on base trims, however to be fair, GM vehicles are typically more well built than those from the Japanese.
For example, we had an Altima rental recently and the car was great! It was comfortable, decently fast, quiet, and got amazing MPG. However is felt extremely cheap inside (my 01 Silverado had more soft touch materials), there were tons of blank switches, none of the windows were automatic up, and only the driver had auto down. The car wasn’t even a base model either, it was a midrange model. Granted it was only 24k, but the base model Malibu that I rode in was definitely better.
But look at some of the packages that get thrown on to these cars. The base version of this car starts fairly high (even at FWD), yet it doesn’t even have something fairly basic at this point like remote start.
To make it worse, you can’t just select that to be added, you need to tack on $1.8k extra for the ‘Sights and Sounds Package.’ Remote start would cost $50-100 to be included but they take that away from you to up-charge.
$2K rebate doesn’t mean as much in light of the 5-percent tariff that adds $1,440 to the base price of the 2019 Chevrolet Blazer; but of course, if General Motors CEO Mary Barra.. didn’t authorize the production of the new Blazer in Mexico, there wouldn’t be a tariff issue and potential consumers could actually get a full $2K rebate instead of potentially $560 with tariffs.
This one of the best SUVs chevy has, but made in mexico it will be flop. more discounts to come
It’s 6/4/2019…………rebates are out on Blazer………still about $2000. They are offering me $19,500 for my 2016 2LTZ Impala that had a sticker a bit over $41,000……….
A comparable Blazer is $50,000…………..
Let’s see…………$50K minus $19.5K is $30.5K plus tax and transfer.
Maybe a ten year loan will do it!
I think these vehicles are a bit overpriced.
One site I read said dealers had a 265 day supply of Blazers…………..wonder why………LOL!
My dad says to me, “That’s a Blazer? I say yeah it is. He says that’s not a Blazer because it should be bigger and rear wheel with a frame, what happened? That’s the Blazer he remembers. I know what he means but explaining the thinking and executions these days at GM is not for the faint of heart.
Thank you so much for this. I was into this https://vidmate.onl/download/ issue and tired to tinker around to check if its possible but couldnt get it done. Now that i have seen the way you did it, thanks guys
