Chevrolet Discount Cuts Traverse Price By 10 Percent In June 2019

Chevrolet Traverse sales decreased 10 percent to 34,223 units in the first quarter of 2019, a rather discouraging turn of events given that current market trends strongly favor SUVs and crossovers. And now, in what is perhaps an effort to rebound from the lackluster sales performance, a new Chevrolet discount takes 10 percent off select Traverse models in June 2019, which equates to nearly $5,000 in some cases.
Incentives
Nationwide Chevrolet discounts on the Traverse for June 2019 are as follows:
- 2019 Traverse: 10 percent below MSRP for current competitive owners, which is the biggest discount on the Traverse so far this year
- 2019 Traverse, excluding L models: $1,000 customer cash
It’s worth noting that the 10 percent incentive is available exclusively to current competitive owners. GM provides the following example of the headline-making Chevrolet discount:
- $2,936 purchase cash + $2,023 price reduction below MSRP = $4,959 total discount
For reference, here are the applicable 2019 Traverse trim levels and their corresponding starting MSRPs:
- LS – $34,095
- LT – $36,595
- RS – $44,295
- Premier – $46,695
- High Country – $54,395
The 10 percent Chevrolet discount for current competitive owners reduces the price of a Traverse Premier with an MSRP of $49,595 to $44,636. Meanwhile, the $1,000 Chevrolet discount reduces the starting price of the Traverse LS to $33,095.

About Chevrolet Traverse
The Chevrolet Traverse is a full-size crossover utility vehicle (CUV). It is the biggest Chevrolet crossover currently offered, slotting above the subcompact Chevrolet Trax and compact Chevrolet Equinox. It will also slot above the much-rumored, future Chevrolet Blazer.
The current model was introduced for the 2018 model year and represents the second generation of the Traverse nameplate. It rides on the extended-length GM C1 platform shared with the second-generation Buick Enclave. A shorter variant of the same platform underpins the second-gen GMC Acadia, first-gen Cadillac XT5 and all-new 2019 Chevy Blazer.
Compared to its first-generation predecessor, the second-gen Traverse is an all-new vehicle that is larger, lighter, sleeker and more modern. It also introduces new trim levels, including High Country and RS - neither of which were present on the first-generation model.
The Chevrolet Traverse is built at the GM Delta Lansing Township factory in Michigan operated by GM USA. It is currently the only plant that builds the Traverse in any part of the world.

I personally think Chevrolet traverse needs to be taken off the market because I had one and within less than a year the engine went bad
All just for you lol
I think it looks good. Sure, people live Explorer, I’m not sure why, but Traverse looks like a baby Tahoe with nice creases.
Chevrolet is stuck with CUVs like Highlander stealing all the spot light.
