A few days ago, we exclusively reported that the all-new 2020 Blazer will offer a switch to disable the much-maligned automatic engine start/stop feature, providing an easy way for owners to turn off the fuel-saving annoyance. Now, we’re dropping yet another exclusive on the new Blazer: according to information obtained by GM Authority, the 2020 Blazer will also introduce a new Redline Edition package to give the mid-size crossover some additional design flair right out of the box.
As in the past, the Redline Package will be an aesthetics upgrade that adds extra visual pizzaz to the exterior. The package will be available on 2020 Blazer models dressed in the mid-range 2LT and 3LT trim levels.
Redline Package contents for the 2020 Blazer include:
- 20-inch aluminum wheels finished in Gloss Black with red trim accents
- A black Blazer badge with a red outline and a black AWD badge with red outline on models so equipped
- Black grille treatment
- Black header bar
- Black window surrounds
- Black side-view mirror caps and mirror stalks
- Black door handles
- Black front and rear Bow Tie badging
- Redline decals
The 2020 Blazer Redline package comes with a few unique considerations, as follows:
- Replaces Black Grille Package
- Replaces standalone black Bow Tie emblem package
- Requires Jet Black interior
- Requires one of three exterior colors:
- Silver Ice Metallic
- Summit White
- Black
- Requires Convenience and Driver Confidence Package (only applicable on 2LT models)
The Redline Edition package will be available on the 2020 Blazer for the interim 2020 model year, meaning that it won’t be available at launch.
It’s worth noting that the new Redline Edition for the 2020 Blazer falls in line with previous Chevrolet Redline Edition packages, such as the 2018 Chevrolet Cruze Redline Edition, 2018 Chevrolet Malibu Redline Edition, and 2018 Chevrolet Trax Redline Edition. We think the 2020 Blazer already looks pretty damn aggressive, but this new package is sure to crank that all the way to 11.
We currently don’t have any photos of the 2020 Blazer with the Redline edition, but we will show them to you as soon as we get them. In the meantime, subscribe to GM Authority for more Chevy Blazer news, Chevrolet news, and 24/7 GM news coverage.

Hahahahaha! More sticker packages priced at an additional ~$2,500 by GM. As a lifelong die-hard GM guy, this is absolutely embarrassing! GM refuses…ABSOLUTELY refuses to offer any performance packages outside of the Camaro and Corvette. I already own those and would enjoy a daily driver with some snap, that begs to be driven. Where was our Cruze SS with ~275hp? I am forced to settle for the Cruze RS as my DD.
Dolts!
This. We need a Supercharged V8 of some sort. It should be a requirement for the term Sport or RS to be used.
The 3.0TT would be perfect, tuned for somewhere between 350 – 400hp. MRC (or maybe the cheaper version) and brakes. Call it a day.
GM, send me my consulting check.
Won’t work. This is FWD platform and the TT engine is for RWD. Maybe next gen or GM will be able to pull some sort of magic.
Really? Didn’t know that. Well, the 3.6 TT exists and I know that works in FWD/AWD cars.
The blazer has AWD as well so it’ll work.
Come on GM. I know these decal packages are profitable, but you have the expertise and hardware in-house to do a proper Sport version.
Gm is being lazy only half doing stuff .
To build a sports car, you need to be willing to install a sports car engine and for the new 2019 Chevrolet Blazer; the only viable engine is the 455 hp 6.2L V8 from the Corvette although for the Blazer it would be L86 EcoTec3 6.2L V8 that makes 420 horsepower which is still a nice upgrade from the 3.6L V6.
L86 won’t fit. This is a TRANSVERSE engine platform. The LF3 out of the soon-to-die XTS V-Sport would and with 410 hp and 370 Ft-Lbs of torque would be more than adequate to compete against the new Edge ST.
I do like the styling options. I can’t think of very many more fashionable vehicles suitable for families.
I ordered my 2019 Blazer Premier . It’s been stuck in the port of Mexico for over a month . I ordered it on 2/14/19. Still hasn’t arrived. Hey Chevy, maybe you shouldn’t of closed down the Ohio plant, and two, get your production in check.
That’s about right for your delivery next month. My dealer told me it would take up to 6 months to get one.
I ordered my RS in September and received it in May….Funny because they told me the same type of reason…vehicle stuck for quality control… (FYI I live in Canada…)…Good luck with yours….
How about the 2.7 turbo 4?
Many people forgot the V8 W-cars (I had one). A 5.3 V8 can work but on Traverse SS and Enclave Super should be available and yes the 3.0tt should be a option on the top Blazer, Acadia and the XT5/XT6
Totally LAME, how about instead adding more blue to the Kinetic Blue Metallic interior, instead of red. Chevrolet does these half-baked looks instead of satisfying the customer. Would have been better like that special blue interior Camaro they did recently!
I run a vape shop directory and we have had a posting from a vape store in the USA that additionally sells CBD product lines. A Month later on, PayPal has written to use to claim that our account has been limited and have asked us to take out PayPal as a payment method from our vape shop website directory. We do not sell CBD items such as CBD oil. We solely provide promotion and marketing services to CBD companies. I have had a look at Holland & Barrett– the UK’s Reputable Health and wellness Store and if you take a good look, you will witness that they supply a somewhat considerable stable of CBD items, primarily CBD oil and they also happen to take PayPal as a payment solution. It seems that PayPal is administering double standards to different companies. Due to this restriction, I can no longer accept PayPal on my CBD-related web site. This has limited my payment possibilities and right now, I am seriously contingent on Cryptocurrency payments and straightforward bank transfers. I have sought advice from a lawyer from a Magic Circle law office in The city of london and they explained that what PayPal is doing is definitely not legal and inequitable as it ought to be applying a consistent standard to all firms. I am yet to check with a different lawyer from a US law office in London to see what PayPal’s legal position is in the United States. For the time being, I would be extremely appreciative if anyone here at targetdomain could offer me with alternative payment processors/merchants that work with CBD firms.
