GMC Sierra sales decreased 2 percent to 40,546 units in the first quarter of 2019, as the automaker continued its launch of the all-new T1-platform model. And now, in a way to draw customers to the all-new 2019 Sierra, a new GMC discount offers as much as $5,500 in April 2019. This is an even higher incentive compared to the $4,000 discount offered last month.
The Incentives
GMC provides the following example discount on an in-stock 2019 Sierra 4WD Crew Cab with SLT Premium Plus Package:
- $1,000 Option Package Discount + $4,500 Purchase Allowance = $5,500 total value
The GMC Sierra discount is only applicable to select in-stock units of the 2019 Sierra 1500 Crew Cab models in the SLT trim level with the SLT Premium Plus Package and when being financed through GM Financial.
Notably, the SLT Premium Plus Package (RPO Code PDT) includes the following equipment:
- SLT Preferred Package:
- 8-inch diagonal Premium GMC Infotainment with navigation
- Bose Premium Audio System
- Wireless Phone Charging
- Driver Alert Package I:
- Front and Rear Park Assist
- Lane Change Alert with Side Blind Zone Alert
- Rear Cross Traffic Alert
- Driver Alert Package II:
- 20-inch Polished aluminum wheels
- Trailer Tire Pressure Monitor System
- Chrome assist steps
- Spray-in bedliner
Note that this GMC Sierra discount applies only to select in-stock units of the all-new, 2019 Sierra on the T1 platform. They do not apply to models on the K2 platform, which are being discounted by over $12,000 during the month of April.

Comments
GMC needs less of a discount than Silverado because their customers are older than dirt and everything automotive they know predates 1976 (coincidentally also the last year Scott went on date a with a sober woman). When everything automotive you know predates 1976, the lies about import car inferiority still stick, you will make excuses for the transmission going out on your brand new American truck because that’s “normal”, and you may not even be able to see and hear all the lights and alarms telling you something is amiss with the ride you paid so much for. Never a better time to drive a GMC. Pure bliss.
You don’t think people that have been around longer have more experiences and may be able to make an informed choice from those experiences? Or do you think people stop learning after 20? There is so much wrong with you’re entire comment, it’s sad.
