Buick Discounts LaCrosse By 16 Percent In April 2019

Buick LaCrosse sales decreased 59 percent to 2,902 units in the first quarter of 2019, results that correlate with GM’s decision to discontinue the vehicle. And now, a new Buick discount takes 16 percent off the full-size premium sedan in April 2019, which – in some cases – can add up to nearly $8,000 off.

  • LaCrosse 1SV (Base) – $30,495
  • Preferred – $34,595
  • Essence – $37,295
  • Premium – $39,595
  • Sport Touring – $40,295
  • Avenir – $45,795

When the offer applies to a LaCrosse Avenir model with an MSRP of $49,735, the MSRP falls by almost $8,000 using the following incentives: $1,708 price reduction below MSRP + $6,192 purchase allowance = $7,900 total discount.

In addition, the 2018 LaCrosse Avenir was introduced to serve as the range-topping model.

  1. One has to wonder whether General Motors has been overpricing some of their cars which causes buyers to be turned off as the 2019 Buick LaCrosse might have been more attractive if the car was priced 10-percent less from the very beginning.

  2. Oh but the reduction in sales couldn’t possibly have anything to do with GM’s decision to kill this car off or it’s overpriced sticker. Couldn’t possibly be. GM’s decision to make Buick into an all SUV brand means no Buick’s for me.
