The hype for the mid-engine Corvette is huge, so it’s easy to forget about the C7 Corvette. In fact, there’s a surplus of C7 Corvettes currently languishing on General Motors lots all over America, making it a good time to pick up the sports car for a bargain. But if you want a C7 Corvette and something like a Corvette Stingray, Grand Sport or Z06 is still outside of your price range (it’s sure not in ours..), then Dale Earnhardt Jr. may have a solution for you.
The famous former NASCAR racer’s charity, the Dale Earnhardt Jr. Foundation, is currently selling raffle tickets for a 2019 Corvette Z06 and cash prizes, with all proceeds from the sale benefitting charity. Tickets are $25 a piece, with the Dale Earnhardt Jr. Foundation planning to sell a total of 10,888 tickets tickets before sales close on August 31st.
The earlier you buyer your ticket, the better chance you have at winning a prize, too. If you enter between March 1st and April 15th you will be entered in a secondary draw to win a $2,000 cash price. Subsequent draws for a $1,000 cash prize and two $500 cash prizes are also on the table for those who register by May 15th and March 1st, respectively.
As for the car, it’s a 2019 Corvette Z06 with the 2LZ equipment package, 7-speed manual transmission, Carbon Fiber ground effects package and Admiral Blue Metallic exterior paint with a Jet Black leather interior. There’s also an aftermarket Billy Boat Fusion exhaust, giving the 6.2-liter supercharged LT4 engine a little more grunt.
If you’re interested, you can click here to buy your raffle tickets for the draw. This contest isn’t open to residents of Utah, Hawaii or Alabama. All sales taxes on the car will be paid by the Dale Earnhardt Jr. Foundation for the winner.
