Major League Baseball season is around the corner, and it’s customary that Chevrolet swap in a new set of vehicles at the home of the Detroit Tigers: Comerica Park.
Atop the Chevrolet fountain at the stadium sits two new vehicles for the 2019 season: a 2019 Chevrolet Silverado and a 2019 Chevrolet Blazer. The brand announced the new vehicles are now perched on the fountain on Tuesday, which marks the 10th year running Chevrolet has graced the fixture with automobiles. The Silverado and Blazer replace the Colorado ZR2 and Traverse from the 2018 season.
“This decade-old tradition allows us to celebrate Chevy’s connection to baseball in our hometown, and it’s a telltale sign that Opening Day is almost here,” said Paul Edwards, U.S. vice president, Chevrolet Marketing. “The all-new Blazer and Silverado represent innovation, endurance and personality—much like our great city of Detroit.”
The vehicles placed on the fountain are also supposed to showcase Chevrolet quality. The two vehicles will endure cold temperatures, muggy and hot summer days, rain, and wind for the next six months.
Chevrolet remains a premier sponsor of the MLB and the official vehicle of the MLB. The brand also operates its Chevy Youth Baseball program, which provides nearly 2,000 free clinics with participation from current and former players and coaches. Chevrolet dealers have also donated nearly 163,000 equipment kits and jerseys to encourage a new generation of baseball players.

I thought they were gonna change it to the ‘Chevrolet – Discounted For A Limited Time’ fountain.
Probably just a rumor.
I got an email today stating that a couple of Burritos fell out of Mexican blazer when it was lifted!!!!!!
They put that Blazer up there to advertise it and I have yet to see a Blazer commercial.

You mean the city in which you are walking away from with the idling of DHAm assembly plant? Nice to put the Blazer up there- nothing like rubbing the crap in the faces of all the UAW folks who will be attending the game.
Tigger, FYI

I wonder what the potential for a homer to strike either of the vehicles is.
