Facebook marketplace is a strange place full of even stranger people asking way too much money for their junk. We’ve seen all sorts of weird cars for sale on the social media platform, but this lifted first-generation Cadillac CTS might just be the oddest.
According to the seller of this absolute monstrosity, it is based on a 1998 Chevrolet Silverado Z71 frame and also features the running gear from a GMT400 Silverado Z71. It “currently does not have gauges hooked up,” to the gauge cluster in the car but that “doesn’t stop it from going anywhere.” It also allegedly has “lights under neath (sic),” and “steroids”, although we have no idea what steroids means in this instance. It’s also on 38-inch tires and has a bull bar, a roof rack with LED lights and side steps for easier access.
Tempted? Oh boy, we bet you are. The seller is asking $5,000 USD for it, which isn’t that bad of a deal for something that runs and drives, although we don’t suggest anybody actually pay real money for this poorly concocted creation. Oh yeah, the seller also isn’t looking for trades unless it’s a “(Suzuki) hybusa (sic), a nice (Ford) F700 or a nice Audi TT.” We can’t imagine why anybody would want to trade their high-performance Japanese motorcycle or German sports car for a 20 year old Silverado with a Cadillac CTS body dropped on top, but hey, to each their own.
You can check out the listing for this car at this link, as long as you have access to Facebook. The car is located in Griffin, GA, as well, just in case you want to see the lifted CTS in person for yourself. Let us know what you think of this go-anywhere Cadillac and its $5,000 price tag in the comments below as well.

We saw a Pontiac TransAm with the same treatment driving down the road 20+ years ago and laughed so hard we almost went off the road. Some folks have more imagination than common sense. The rest of us are just dull.
