We came across this image and just had to share it with you. What is it exactly – a Chevy truck? A tractor? A bit of both? As it turns out, the answer depends on who you ask. We spent a good deal of time researching and trying to find information about the vehicle in question, but to no avail. What we do know is that this old-school Chevrolet C10 truck and tractor combo can plow through anything in its path, whether it be snow or something else entirely.
As it stands, someone decided that it would be a good idea to swap out the back end of the Chevy truck for a tractor rear end. Anything is possible with an adaptor kit, right? Hopefully, there is a heavy-duty rear diff in there to avoid putting too much stress on the driveline with those gigantic wheels/tires.
While it is not clear whether the front tires are AG tractor wheels/tires, the rear units are an obvious bet. Those massive tractor tires wrapped in snow chains look ready to conquer winters the world over, the dreaded polar vortex included.
One thing is for sure, the owner of this Chevy truck definitely knows their way around a wrench and a welder. It may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but it is something to behold. Extra points if you noticed someone shoveling by hand in the background.
Let us know what you think of this Chevy “tructor” in the comment section below.

Just proves with beer anything is possible.
You really could not drive this all that far very fast as you could never get the tires balanced, also odds are they may come appart if they got to warm as they are old tires.
Looks like something that a farmer with a broken truck and some spare tractor parts but together to clear lanes on the farm.
If you had the main parts this would not be a difficult thing to do if you really had the need.
FYI it is called winter not Polar BS. Time to stop the media weather hype. It happens every year.
When I was a teenager, my similarly-aged neighbor, Jesse Downing, transplanted a small block V8 into a modest-sized farm tractor. The wheelies were impressive.
The tractor’s diff in there is plenty heavy, it surly sees much less torque from that gas motor and small reduction tranny than in it’s prior life. What would really be impressive is if he had working front wheel assist, would be some serious gearing challenges to get wheel speeds to match. Might have to try that someday
Really cool, basically a modern doodlebug.
