Chevrolet Discounts Tahoe By 10 Percent In February 2019

Chevrolet Tahoe sales decreased 17 percent in the fourth quarter of 2018. The decrease is rather unexpected considering current market trends that strongly favor utility vehicles such as crossovers and SUVs over sedans. We believe that the sales decrease is the result of strong competitive pressure from direct rivals – the new Ford Expedition and Nissan Armada as well as anticipation of the all-new, 2020 Tahoe. So, in what could be a way to boost Tahoe sales volume in the face of strong competition, a new Chevrolet discount reduces the price of select Tahoe models by 10 percent, which – in some cases – can be more than $7,000 in savings.

Nationwide Chevrolet discounts on the Tahoe for February 2019 are as follows:

  • 2019 Tahoe: 10 percent below MSRP on select models when financing with GM Financial
  • 2019 Tahoe: $750 customer cash on select models
  • 2018 Tahoe: $1,500 customer cash on select models
  • 2018 Tahoe: 0 percent APR for 72 months when financing with GM Financial

For reference, here are the applicable 2018 and 2019 Tahoe trim levels and their corresponding starting MSRPs:

2018 Tahoe

  • LS (1LS) – $48,795
  • LT (1LT) – $53,895
  • Premier (1LZ) – $63,495

2019 Tahoe

  • LS (1LS) – $49,195
  • LT (1LT) – $54,195
  • Premier (1LZ) – $63,895

Applying the headlining 10 percent Chevrolet discount to an in-stock 2019 Tahoe Premier model with an MSRP of $75,505 brings the starting price of said model to just $67,955 – a notable decrease in $7,550.

  2. This generation of Tahoe had a great run, and even 5 years from now, I would still look back at this generation and say “Hey, that’s the state of the art for its time.” But a new state of the art “Aka 2020 Tahoe, along with its iconic bretherin the 2020 Chevrolet Suburban.” will soon replace this generation. I’m fascinated to see what the new models will look like once they’re unveiled soon this year. The prototypes of the new models look very, very interesting, especially with the new “Updated” outside rear view mirrors that are mounted on the door in a very interesting and unique way as opposed to the previous A-Pillar mounted setup. The turn signal indicaters on the front of the mirror instead of the rear view mirror glass adds to that uniqueness as well.

  3. I love these things! If I had but one vehicle to drive the rest of my life, It’s a Tahoe! I love them better than my pickup but they are too dang high! I understand supply and demand and Tahoe is in high demand but a run of the mill Tahoe Custom 4×4 is 50k! The sub base stripper model is 50k!! I love them but something has got to give! I have 2 right now, a ’99 and a ’08, both bought new. I won’t consider a new one now. I’m not going to pay that!
