When the 2020 Buick Envision launches later this year, the compact crossover SUV will introduce two new exterior colors, GM Authority has discovered via information provided by dealers.
The first is Espresso Metallic, and the second is Dark Moon Blue Metallic.
The addition of those two colors comes at the expense of two existing ones, as Galaxy Silver Metallic and Bronze Alloy Metallic will be deleted.
We don’t have photos of the two new 2020 Buick Envision colors just yet, but expect to get our hands on them in the near future.
No other changes are expected to the 2020 Buick Envision, which just saw a refresh for the 2019 model year.
Stay tuned to GM Authority for the latest Buick news, Buick Envision news, and Buick forum discussions.
About Buick Envision
The Buick Envision is a compact crossover that slots above the subcompact Buick Encore and below the full-size Buick Enclave. The current, first-generation Envision was introduced for the 2016 model year. The vehicle is based on a variant of the GM D2 platform shared with the second-generation GMC Terrain, Chevrolet Cruze, and Chevrolet Volt.
The Envision launched with a relatively steep starting price of $42,995 in 2016, since it was available only in the two highest trim levels and with the most potent turbo 2.0L LTG engine. The 2017 model introduced several lower-end trim levels, enabling the starting price to drop to $34,990. The 2018 model goes unchanged from the 2017 model.
The 2019 Envision received a midcycle refresh that includes a significant amount of changes, including new headlights and front grille, the new GM 9-speed automatic transmission on Premium models, new exterior colors and interior color combinations, reconfiguring the exhaust pipe on non-Premium models to be turned under the vehicle, new taillights, new wheel choices, the replacement of Ice Blue ambient lighting with White, and the addition of three new technologies -  an ionizing air cleaner, Tire Fill Alert, and wireless cell phone charging. There's also the removal of the Buick script from the rear of the vehicle.
The 2020 Envision will receive two new exterior colors, at the expense of two existing ones.
The Buick Envision is built exclusively at the GM Dong Yue factory operated by GM China and SAIC for global markets

Had an Envision as a rental a few weeks back, and I liked it a lot. The interior was very plush and high quality. Hope GM keeps it in the US.
It desperately needs better exterior styling. It’s an over priced snooze fest on wheels.
There is a reason it was a rental…THEY ARENT SELLING!
Something to do with being made in China which obviously doesn’t help our country…Oh, and there are plenty of better crossovers for the money.
Two colors are Toxic Lead Grey and Red China………
The two colors are called beige and boring.
Why are they eliminating any exterior color choices? With only 6 offered they should be expanding with a nice light blue and green. The fact you can price one of these well over 50K is indicative of the massive Mary profits they are currently enjoying despite soft sales on these made in China blandmobiles.
The Envision is overpriced because the protected Chinese market allows it somewhat and they aren’t selling in the U.S. So they need to ripoff the Chinese to gain for lost sales.
Nothing is overpriced. Some things are just outside of your reach.
I thought I heard a dealer say the Envision was up for a major 2020 refresh after they met last year in Nashville?
Not sure of the accuracy of that statement. The Envision got the refresh for 2019 model year:
