We don’t know about you, but we thought one of the coolest paint schemes of last year’s Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series season was Chase Elliott’s Hooters-sponsored No. 9 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1. The Georgia-based chain’s branding appeared as the main sponsor on the No. 9 car for a handful of races and we’re happy to report that it will return for select events in 2019.
The No. 9 team unveiled the new-look Hooters NASCAR entry online today, with Elliott calling it his best-looking Hooters paint scheme to date.

Hooters first announced it would be extending its sponsorship of Elliott toward the end of last season and would continue to sponsor the budding NASCAR star for three races each year until 2021. Elliott has featured in the restaurant’s ads and the company has also launched a dedicated web portal for race fans. It has linked the driver to its promotional campaigns as well, offerings deals to customers if Elliott finishes in the top 10 or wins.
Elliott also revealed a custom painted helmet that he will wear when he races the Hooters car, along with matching firesuit. Hendrick Motorsports says the Hooters branding will first appear on Elliott’s Camaro just a few weeks into the season at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, although it’s not yet clear where it will appear afterward. Elliott ran the paint scheme at Richmond and the Daytona night race last year.
Elliott says he likes to work with Hooters due to its laid back attitude.
“We have a great relationship with Hooters,” Elliott said. “It’s a place where you can just relax and enjoy yourself. Working with them is always a lot of fun, and their laid-back style is a really good fit for me. I’m looking forward to continuing the partnership with Hooters and doing more to build on their history in racing.”
The 2019Â Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series season will kick off next month.
