Westin Reveals Aftermarket Off-Road Bumpers For 2019 Silverado

The 2019 Chevrolet Silverado has been shipping out to dealerships since late August, and the aftermarket is ready with a slew of parts. One of the debuts for the 2019 Silverado at the 2018 SEMA show was a handful of new off-road bumpers from Westin.

Pictured here is the Sportsman Grille Guard bumper. Westin showed the bumper off on a two-tone custom 2019 Silverado. The bumper works with factory parking sensors and even features a built-in light bar. And the light bar runs at lower power during the day. Owners simply need to flip a switch and full power is available when the sun goes down.

The second bumper is an updated version of the company’s Pro Mod HDX series. The bumper was shown on a 2019 Ram 1500, but it will be available for the 2019 Silverado as well. The bumper can fit up to five lights, which includes a 20-inch light bar mounted at the center. An additional HDX grille can be installed to fit another three lights for those in need of maximum light.

The Pro Mod HDX is a modular bumper, which means everything is fairly simple to bolt together. Again, this bumper also works with factory parking sensors. Or, Westin can plug the holes if a specific truck doesn’t come equipped with the sensors.

Both bumpers are on sale now and represent only a few options 2019 Silverado owners will have as the aftermarket picks up steam for the new full-size pickup truck.

  1. The main thing here is the two-tone paint scheme that Chevy needs to go back to.
