Here’s The New Shadow Metallic Color For The 2019 Cadillac Escalade: First Look

The 2019 Cadillac Escalade adds two new exteriors color to its color palette: Manhattan Noir Metallic and Shadow Metallic. Here’s our first look at the new Shadow Metallic hue.

Availability

Assigned color code GJI and touch-up paint code WA-626D, Shadow Metallic is one of four gray hues available for the 2019 Cadillac Escalade. The other three gray exterior colors are Satin Steel Metallic, Manhattan Noir Metallic, and Radiant Silver Metallic.

The new Shadow Metallic color is only included in the base price for Platinum models, and is otherwise carries an additional cost of $625. The new gray hue is available in conjunction with all trim levels and interior color combinations.

Launch Timeframe

As of this writing, the GM Arlington plant has been assembling 2019 Escalade and shipping it to dealers for the past several of weeks. Models in the Shadow Metallic exterior color are already on dealer lots. Availability varies by dealer, so check with yours for complete details.

  1. Live to dream.. a Cadillac Escalade with a LT5 755 hp engine because nothing says luxury like high performance of a Corvette ZR1.

    1. I agree with you 100%, even if it wasn’t the LT5 the LT4 would do the job just fine…..
      But I think we all know the next gen Escalade-V will get the blackwing in it, which isn’t a bad thing the high performance suv market is booming and nothing better for Cadillac to enter that with then the Escalade

  2. Next-gen will be getting the 4.2, that should suffice. IMO the Escalade should have a dedicated off-road version, an “Escalade ZR2” so to speak like true 3-locking differentials, disconnecting sway-bars, the works. If Europe want you to pay $140k for a 1979 box (G-Wagon) or an unreliable off-roader (Range-Rover) I don’t see why an off-road package for Escalade seems weird.
