New Flowmaster Cat-Back Exhaust Announced For Chevrolet Colorado, GMC Canyon

The aftermarket continues to trickle performance accessories into GM’s midsize pickup trucks, with the latest example coming from Flowmaster Exhaust. The Flowmaster FlowFX cat-back exhaust system will bolt on to any 2015-2018 Chevy Colorado or 2015-2018 GMC Canyon equipped with the 3.6L V6 engine. See more in the video above.
The FlowFX system swaps the singular tailpipe design of a stock 2018 Chevy Colorado into a twin-tubed look that emphasizes a dose of sportiness. The startup sound and exhaust note of the truck also transforms from being essentially muted to a rather aggressive V6 bellow. A full-throttle takeoff emanates a sound that’s similar to any sixth-generation Chevy Camaro V6 with optional dual-mode exhaust – a little exotic if we do say.
At the end of the one-minute and thirteen-second video, a dyno chart shows that the Flowmaster FlowFX exhaust incrementally increases both horsepower and torque figures in the 2018 Chevy Colorado. An improvement that pairs well with the extra volume.
The Flowmaster FX exhuast kit for the 2015-2018 Chevy Colorado and GMC Canyon is comprised of dual 2.25-inch tubes made of 409S stainless steel with a straight-through performance crossflow muffler. The system is then finished off with dual 3-inch polished 304 stainless steel tips showing off the Flowmaster logo. The exhaust kit includes all necessary parts, hardware and detailed instructions and currently priced at $515.97 at the time of this writing.
Other exhaust kits available for the 2015-2018 Chevy Colorado and GMC Canyon include kits from Borla, and Corsa.

And if Mary Barra had it her way.. you won’t be seeing Flowmaster Cat-Back Exhaust from the back of a Chevy Colorado or GMC Canyon because Barra wants to dump gas engines and move forward to battery powered electric vehicles; although it might be possible to digitally play the sound of a V6 with the Flowmaster Cat-Back Exhaust.
Lighten up.
It is not Mary forcing this it is the regulations and push globally trying to force zero emissions.
Barra is only trying to keep her company viable and still around.
You have a beef with with EV take it to the politicians. That is where it all starts.
To be honest ice will be around for a good while yet.
GM will replace ICE with fuel cell engines
Not till cost come down and you do realize that Fuel Cells generate power for electric motors not engines?
Yes which is different then the volt! It runs off a ice to recharge a battery. A fuel cell engine will be similar!
