Sales of the GMC Savana decreased 35.2 percent in the third quarter of 2018, and deliveries are down 30.6 percent in the first nine months of the year. Though GM insists that the lower sales volume across its portfolio is a result of a strategic approach that involves decreasing profit-sapping incentives in order to boost profits, the drop in Savana sales is far from great. So, in what could very well be an effort to reverse the downward trend in Savana deliveries, GMC has introduced an attractive Savana discount for the month of October 2018.
GMC Savana Incentives
Nationwide incentives on the 2018 GMC Savana for October 2018 are as follows:
- For everyone:
- $3,500Â customer cash for any new Savana Passenger or Cargo model
- 1.9 percent APR when you finance with GM financial
As such, the Savana appears to be one of the vehicles that runs contrary to GM’s strategy of reducing incentive spending, since the $3,500 discount represents more than 10 percent of the Savana Cargo model’s base MSRP.
The incentives are applicable to all 2018 GMC Savana trim levels of the Cargo and Passenger models.
For reference, the applicable 2018 GMC Savana configurations, trim levels, and their corresponding MSRPs are as follows:
- Savana Passenger
- LS – $34,710
- LT – $34,710
- Savana Cargo
- Work Van 2500 – $32,490
- Work Van 3500 – $35,810
