General Motors’ joint venture in China, Shanghai GM, will recall over 3.3 million vehicles due to a defect associated with the vehicles’ suspension system.
According to China’s market regulation agency – State Administration for Market Regulation – the the GM China recall will begin on October 20th and includes Buick, Chevrolet and Cadillac vehicles produced between 2013 and 2018.
The administration said in a statement that Shanghai GM will contact impact customers and will repair the vehicles free of charge.
A GM China representative stated that the cause of the recall is a suspension arm that may become deformed under extreme operating conditions. However, there are no known casualties related to the issue.

How do you say “millions of miles of testing is just a sales slogan” in chinese? They better start that awesome real people not actors series of ads over there.
I think it’s better to read about this recall rather than reading news about accidents that caused by these errors in the future. I have also read a nice article that talks about lemon laws at https://www.lemberglaw.com/lemon-law-lawyers-attorneys/. People who experienced similar problems with their cars but haven’t been recalled by the car manufacturers could try to claim it.
