Chevy Dealer To Host Charity Car Show For Local Dog Rescue

A&T Chevrolet-Subaru based in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, is doing its part to help man’s best friend. The Bucks County Courier Times reported the dealership will host a charity car show to benefit a local dog rescue.

Proceeds from the Celebration of Cars charity car show will directly benefit the Keystone Opportunity Center and Dog Town Rescue. The show is expected to draw the dealer’s largest crowd to date for a charity show.

Dog Town Rescue has worked for the past five years to reduce the number of dogs entering shelters, which often leads to euthanization. The organization operates to rescue centers in PA, which include pet supplies stores, kennels and play areas for dogs awaiting their forever home. Dog Town is also funded entirely by donations and all funds help the rescue purchase food and supplies for foster puppies and dogs, and medical care.

The car show will start at 10:00 a.m. with registrations beginning at 9:30 a.m. Those interested in joining the show will need to register their car, which comes with a $10 registration fee. The fee directly benefits the two groups. Participants will compete for 12 trophies to be awarded at 12:30 p.m. across multiple categories.

Rain or shine, A&T Chevrolet-Subaru will call all car and dog lovers for a good cause. The show takes place this October 7 with food and other activities also planned.
