About Buick Encore
The Buick Encore is a subcompact crossover that is Buick’s smallest crossover, slotting below the compact Buick Envision and full-size Buick Enclave.
The first-generation Encore was introduced for the 2013 model year and derived from the first-generation Opel Mokka. The Chevrolet Trax/Tracker is the third variant of the model, and went on sale after the Mokka and Encore. All three vehicles are based on the same variant of the GM Gamma platform known as Gamma Long or Gamma Large.
The 2019 model year Encore sees two new colors, the deletion of three existing colors, the addition of a new safety package, and the removal of Premium and Preferred II models.
The Buick Encore is built by GM Korea at the GM Bupyeong plant in South Korea.

Hey, an actual COLOR! GM has so many earth tones and greys that this is a revelation. It’s similar to the Pacific Blue on several new Chevys and Atlantic on the new Cadillac XT4. Blue-greens have been missing from GM’s color palette forever, so it’s good to see it come back.
