2019 Silverado High Country With Performance Accessories Bows In Texas

The 2018 State Fair of Texas kicked off this week with a quartet reveal of 2019 Chevrolet Silveado 1500 pickup truck concepts, and we can’t think of a more appropriate place to show them off. The State Fair of Texas is considered its own auto show, after all, and Texan truck affection goes unrivaled.

Officially, the vehicle in the photo above is called the 2019 Chevrolet Silverado High Country Concept. But we all know that Chevy has gone official and debuted an all-new Silverado 1500 High Country already. What’s conceptual about it (for now) are the performance parts and accessories that adorn this premium pickup inside and out. Chevy also ditched the standard chrome look to experiment with bronze – which is also conceptual. Along with the coppered looks, here’s what we’ve got:

  • Two-inch lift kit
  • Six-Piston Brembo front brakes, with color-matching OEM rear brakes.
  • Cat-Back Dual Exhaust
  • Cold-Air Intake
  • Illuminated gold bowtie
  • Chrome tailgate handle
  • Underseat organizer
  • Center console lockable storage box
  • Front-row premium all-weather floor liners with Chevrolet lettering
  • Rear-seat infotainment system with DVD player (people still use DVDs, apparently).

Chevrolet Silverado High Country Concept - Exterior 001

The two-inch lift on the Silverado High Country Concept is from the factory and debuts a new Off Road Appearance Package, offered through dealers – which seems to be pulled from the 2019 Silverado Trail Boss. The package also features a sport bar and off-road assist steps. Additionally, the packaged includes a soft roll-up tonneau cover, but in this case, the 2019 Silverado High Country features a Embark Power Max Retractable Tonneau Cover from Advantage. Visually, it’s hard to tell how much of a visual impact the subtle bronze blush makes from the photos.

Hopefully we take a closer look come November, as this 2019 Silverado High Country Concept will make rounds during the 2018 SEMA Show after its time at the 2018 State Fair of Texas, which runs until October 21.
