2019 Blazer Price: What Will The New Midsize CUV Cost?

Although we’re months out from launch, the 2019 Blazer’s price remains a focus. We’ve decided to break down how Chevrolet could approach the 2019 Blazer price model.

The most obvious 2019 Blazer price strategy pegs it slightly below the 2019 Chevrolet Traverse, the brand’s full-size crossover SUV. The 2019 Traverse starts at $29,930, which gives us an educated guess point of around $28,000 for the mid-size crossover. If Chevy leaves the Traverse pricing alone, a $28,000 point seems logical, considering its direct competitors all start around $29,000 or above $30,000.

However, if Chevrolet decides it wants to stretch the gap, the Traverse could see a price increase over $30,000 to match the Ford Explorer. Should that happen, the 2019 Blazer price could fall around $29,000, which still places it in-line with competition. When the crossover SUV does launch, the Blazer will be offered in four trim levels: L, “Blazer,” RS and Premier. The “Blazer” trim is broken down into three LT trims: 1LT, 2LT and 3LT.

About 2019 Blazer

Chevrolet re-introduced the Blazer name for the 2019 model year as an all-new crossover utility vehicle (CUV). Based on the regular wheelbase version of the GM C1 platform shared with the GMC Acadia and Cadillac XT5, the 2019 Blazer is a midsize crossover that slots between the compact Chevy Equinox and full-size Chevy Traverse.

  3. Horrible looking grille, seriously detracts from the overall appearnce of an otherwise great looking vehicle. Must be a manufacturer’s run on the black, chain link fence fabric appearing material. Seriously bad!
