Buick rolled out the third Avenir-branded model late Tuesday evening: the 2019 Buick Regal Avenir, which arrives with typical concept-car inspired design cues, more premium features and the brand’s latest infotainment system.
The latest Avenir model will follow the formula with a 3D-mesh front grille, 19-inch Pearl Nickel wheels and Avenir badging throughout the exterior. Inside, diamond-quilted leather seats are part of a new Whisper Beige interior theme with Ebony accents and embroidered first-row headrests. Buyers can also choose an Ebony interior motif as well.

Regal Avenir rolls out Buick’s latest infotainment system, which is the first to utilize the cloud. The cloud-connected system enables embedded apps and takes a driver’s infotainment profile with them into any other compatible vehicle. Cadillac first introduced the feature with its CUE infotainment system. Other creature comforts include wireless charging, navigation, a Bose eight-speaker premium audio system, and a suite of active safety features.

Under the posh mid-size sedan’s hood is a familiar 2.0-liter LTG turbocharged four-cylinder engine making 250 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. A nine-speed automatic transmission handles shifting duties.
The Regal Avenir should only propel transaction prices for the Regal nameplate. Buick said half of all Regal Sportback buyers have chosen the range-topping trim, and market research shows a growing demand for mid-size cars priced from $30,000 to $40,000. Buick didn’t provide pricing for the Regal Avenir but said the figure will be revealed closer to its arrival at dealerships in early fall.
The Regal joins the Enclave and LaCrosse Avenir models in North American showrooms.

Looks like a nice package. Would’ve been great if they bumped power even just roughly 5% up to 270hp 290lb-ft
Or gave it the V6 from the GS.
I wish it had AWD and offered on the TourX, but I think that Buick is already considering it, they are probably just testing the waters with the sportback. Otherwise great job Buick, Avenir is a success!!!
No Digital Gauge Cluster and no Air Conditioned Seats. That is unacceptable in my opinion
Is this confirmed for the Avenir trim? If so, what a bummer… these features are a must for me so I looked at the GS since it’s the only one with these options, but those sport seats in the GS are IMO awful!
While I personalty do not have an issue with the Recaro seats in the GS, I find it crazy that that is the only way Buick will offer Ventilated Seats in t5he Regal. I mean the Avenir is supposed to be a Luxury upgrade.
The seats in the GS have to be the worst I have ever sat in .
Who the heck are you to say its not acceptable. Its not your decision just your opinion.
I am a potential customer, that’s why I can state whatever I feel like stating. Is that ok with you?
Agreed, at least on the digital gauge cluster. GM has gone cheap again.
Later, when crap sales force the Avenir to be EOLed, the executives responsible for the model’s failure will blame it on the SUV/CUV craze and enjoy their yearly bonuses as always.
Aside from the ventilated seats, is it really that hard to make an Avenir GS? GS performance with Avenir seats and luxury.
Or are they holding back for a TTV6 GNX trim?
Why put ‘Avenir’ on this Regal when it dont get the 3.6L V6?
Thank you, exactly! This is just a regular Regal without the luxury options it should have, only with a few cosmetic changes along with a new Infotainment system. Hardly worth paying a premium price for.
No V6, No AWD, no digital cluster, no HUD, no ventilated seats. All items offered on the GS. SO, what is the point of the supposed luxury trim?
To grow those margins, clearly.
GM seems to be using a unique strategy: offer fewer features than the competition, all while charging the same (or more), wrapping it all up in virtually non-existent marketing.
On second though, if you can get actually get people to buy your vehicles under those conditions, I guess you would make a ton of $$$.
Does it come with a complimentary one year supply of Old Spice cologne?
Love the style of this redesign. However, I own a 2011 Regal..the metallic/plastic surround around the gear shifter is the same as from the 2011. Gauges are also basically the same as my 2011. Makes the car look dated already.
Also disappointed in the fact that there aren’t ventilated seats and the digital gauge cluster from the GS. You can get cooled seats on Chevrolet Malibu but not a Regal Avenir? Smh
