We’re enjoying the final months of summer, but Chevrolet Camaro and Pontiac Firebird enthusiasts should have September marked on their calendar for the F-Body Nationals.
The event, which will take place at the Memphis International Raceway, promises drag racing, auto crossing, a car show, part swaps and much more for any Camaro fanatic. The event is open to all F-body Camaros, Firebirds and even fifth- and sixth-generation models.
Better yet, the event is practically no pressure for all attendees. Not into competitive drag racing? Fun runs will take place over two days for anyone to track their car. But, competitive drag racing will also be present with four classes. Autocross is open to all cars registered, and any registered car is automatically entered into the show and shine competition.
Meanwhile, project car builders will likely find whatever they need at the swap meet. Spaces start at $50 and will be sold at a first-come-first-serve basis.
The F-body palooza will open its doors on September 21 and run through September 22.
