As part of GM Canada’s 100th-anniversary celebration, the CAMI assembly plant will host an open house. Visitors will be able to see the 2018 Chevrolet Equinox come to life and roll off of the assembly line on August 8.
The open house will include an extensive 1-mile tour of the facility and participants will have the chance to speak with GM Canada and Chevrolet Canada representatives to learn more about the manufacturing process at CAMI. GM Canada said before signing up to note tourists will need to board buses and walk flights of stairs. Participants must be at least 12-years-old, too.
After the tour, GM Canada will invite its visitors for a BBQ on the front lawn and a Chevrolet Equinox will be present for a food drive.
You can follow the link here to register a spot for the tour and space is limited. Open-toe shoes are not permitted, and GM Canada strictly prohibits photos and videos inside the plant.
