A Superformance 1963 Grand Sport Corvette replica is now for sale on eBay. Originally, only five were built to serve as racecars but such an iconic design had to be replicated and can now be purchased on the online marketplace.
Superformance is a distributor for complete, “Rolling Chassis” replica and continuation of the extremely rare and valuable Corvette Grand Sport race cars from the 1960s. The frame and look is identical to the originals, but Superformance updated some things, like putting a V8 LT1Â with 460 horsepower into the engine bay. Meanwhile, the interior is stocked full of modern amenities but keeps things such as the steering wheel, pedals, catches, fittings, shifter, and hand brake lever all original.
Although this is a replica, this Superformance Grand Sport is still a one-of-a-kind car and a rare find in the marketplace. With only 500 miles on the odometer, this 1963 Grand Sport Corvette lookalike is going for $169,265 at the time of this writing.
