President Trump And Kim Jong-Un Fawn Over Cadillac One Limousine

It’s not every day the President of the United States shows off his presidential ride, but President Trump took a moment to bond with North Korean dictator Kim Jong-Un over Cadillac One.

Cadillac One, or “the beast,” is off limits to many folks, but President Trump allowed Kim to take a peek inside the vehicle, per a Twitter video from NBC. The media wasn’t given the same treatment as secret service pushes photographers away from the vehicle to keep them from exposing the beast’s secrets.

Both leaders took a look at the beast during the recent Singapore summit, where a U.S. president met with a North Korean leader for the first time ever.

For obvious matters of national security, not much is actually known about the presidential limo. Despite wearing Cadillac design, the limo is based on a General Motors medium-duty truck platform and likely weighs close to 20,000 pounds. Onboard, the Beast is thought to carry a fire-suppression system, oxygen supply, technology to protect the limo from an EMP attack, a tear gas launcher and much more. Cadillac One is prepared for all circumstances.

President Trump is in for a new ride very soon, however. The current limo is still from the Obama administration and looks very much like a jacked up DTS sedan. The new limo should wear Escalade and CT6 design cues and display a much more modern look. The beast 2.0 should go into service in late summer this year after numerous delays.

  1. Don: “Let’s go for a ride”

Kim: “I don’t want to sit where Obama sat. Which side did Michelle sit on?”

Don: “Obama sat up front, don’t worry, he needed to plug in his phone to read his FB page all the time.”

Kim: “But you had your 3 tv’s put in the back, right? There’s a steam train documentary coming up I need to see it.”

Don: “No worries, Big Hands, you won’t miss a second, when you need to go, just push this button and the seat opens.”

Kim: “That’s amazing! We have to have a whole separate car for that!”

Kim then opens the seat and flushes Don out and down the Singapore sewer straight to a Malaysian druggie jail. Malay Police do a nose inspection (Saddam style) and Don is done.

    1. President Trump just accomplished with North Korea what 30 years of Obama, the Clintons, and Bushes failed to do.

Keep whining sore losers, not going to change the fact that we have a winning President finally that us going to be around a long long time.

Meds might help cope with the fact that Hillary and you got beat bye Donald J. Trump and there is absolutely nothing you can do about it…ever.

…Unless you call being a sore loser whining and crying everyday “doing something about it.”

  2. I’d really like to know why GM is so late in delivering this car’s replacement. The car that President Trump is using originally debuted on January 20, 2009 upon the inauguration of Barack Obama. The car is now over nine years old. As is traditional, GM was supposed to deliver its replacement to the Secret Service in time for the ceremonial parade ride down Pennsylvania Avenue for the 45th president on January 20, 2017. That didn’t happen. Although there was much anticipation at the time, when the parade began, there was Trump in the same old car. GM still hasn’t delivered.

I watched Kim Jung Un’s armored Mercedes-Benz wind its way through Singapore followed by Trump’s Cadillac and while the Caddy is as imposing as ever, it still reminds me of a Russian Zil juxtaposed against the sleeker Mercedes. The replacement car, as seen in spy photos, appears much sleeker and more elegant. It can’t get here a minute too soon. I view it as the ultimate flagship vehicle for Cadillac; it’s a custom-built limousine for the leader of the free world. As such it is a very prominent representation of the brand that travels the world. It should be as fortified as need be but as elegant and graceful-looking as it possibly can be.

    2. GM under Ms. Mary Barra, CEO, failed to deliver again. Mary seems to be making a lot of excuses these days but fails to understand the word “accountability” as expected of a true leader.

Reminds me of the “Rolls Royce Phantom II” scene in Indiana Jones/Temple of Doom.

    1. This Kim has a more up to date car, as can be seen on TV: a Mercedes stretch limosine (or even three of them).

    2. Amazing to see Trump accomplish what 30 years of Presidents couldnt do. Obama talked a big game but failed miserably. Trump actually delivers on his promises. Some people dont like successful people because it highlights how weak, ineffective, and outright failures they are.

      Congrats, President Trump!

      1. First American President to meet directly with NoKo leader for peace…

        No rocket launches since November…

        Nuclear bunkers destroyed last month…

American hostages released from North Korea…

And that is only a small tip of the iceberg President Trump has accomplished with North Korea, more than big yappers Obama and Clinton ever dreamed they could do.

Facts tend to counter the sore loser lies and political rhetoric, dont they?

      2. what did he actually accomplish? trump meeting kim just legitimizes this that pariah. throughout the decades, those north koreans wanted nothing more than a meeting with a president.

and what did we get in return? i know kim got trump to cancel those war games with south korea. seems like trump wanted that photo opportunity more than kim.

but if trump/kim are now buddies, i guess that lessens the chance of war and that is good. now trump could turn his attention and vitriol to those canadian thugs from the north. terrible people. but who needs them? we’ve got north korea now.

  7. I can’t believe the racist stupid attitude of so many folks.
It does no justice to these public servants (no matter who they are) that in many cases have devoted their lives to out nation and our safety.
As long as they have no way to respond this rhetoric is not called for. They work for us and must respond accordingly.

  9. The US side had two of those “Cadillac One” in Singapore. I think that they own a dozen of them, so that the POTUS can be driven in one of those to the aircraft he is leavin in while another of them is already waiting at the airport where the POTUS will land on his next stop.

Kim Jong-un rode in one of the North Korean owned Mercedes-Benz strech limousines, followed by a Maybach (initially I thought this was an Alpheon, the GM Korea version of the Buick LaCrosse). According to my observations via TV, North Korea has two or rather three of those.

Bad sign is that those PDRK cars run without a licence plate… This is a sign of that “I am above the law” attitude common to monarchies but not to republics.

  10. What a stupid idiot. The NK secret service were dying to get a look inside to be able to learn of the secrets of this car rendering the millions in R&D to complete waste.
