We’re all for taking care of ensuring any car is sparkling clean, but there’s a proper way to do it all. And using the brush at a self-serve car wash is not the way to do it.
Not only has this individual broken one of the main rules of auto detailing, but he’s also standing on the roof of his C7 Corvette… for some reason. We’re not entirely sure why that seems like a good idea, but to each their own.
Back to the brush: hundreds of people use the foaming brush on various cars. In the process, especially if drivers live in states where salt is a de-icer, rust, debris, dirt and all sorts of gunk imaginable sits in the brush. Prepare for spider-webbing and swirl marks in the clear coat, ladies and gentlemen.
May we suggest not standing on the roof of a car to wash it? And if washing the car at home is not an option, a laser wash will keep any harmful brushes from scratching or knicking the paint. Don’t be like this guy. Please.

what a DA
Prolly not his car,,,who in their right mind stands on their own car….he is definitely riding the short bus…
Although not used often, I have never had a problem with car wash brushes, you just have to rinse them off good and make sure there is no grease on them before using. As for standing on it, I have done that too but usually with much larger vehicles with a lot more wheels. Probably not worried or caring about a few marks on the car, they really don’t stay new for very long anyways.
Probably the D’ette owners son, the son is mad because his inheritance going to his dad’s “wife” same age as the son….
