General Motors President Dan Ammann’s responsibilities now include more technology, cybersecurity, and self-driving-car related areas than ever. Following an internal shakeup, Ammann relinquished control of Cadillac to GM’s Mark Reuss to focus more on the automaker’s Cruise Automation Subsidiary.
With his wealth of knowledge, Ammann has been selected to deliver a keynote address at the Billington Automotive Cybersecurity Summit. Specifically, Ammann will focus on the importance of cybersecurity as the automobile becomes more connected than ever. GM is also the premier sponsor of the event.
Joining Ammann will be Jeffrey Massimilla, Vice President, Global Cybersecurity for GM and Tim Piastrelli, Chief Information Security Officer, Cruise Automation. A handful of other executives from Ford, Fiat-Chrysler Automobiles and Toyota will also speak. Other experts from the U.S. government and journalists round out the speaker list.
The summit will take place on August 3
