It’s nearly time for one of the most famed motorsport outings: the 24 Hours of Le Mans. And Corvette Racing is hoping for a better showing than its 2017 results.
Ahead of the big race this weekend, Corvette Racing released a hype video on Monday to get fans excited. The video shows scenes from previous Le Mans races in the reflection of the Corvette C7.R racer, and we must say, it’s a proper hype video.
Even if you don’t happen to follow motorsports or Corvette Racing, the short film is enough to give any Corvette enthusiasts some chills. After all, our Corvette road cars benefit from what happens out on the track and from racing programs.
Have a look at the video below, and GM Authority wishes Corvette Racing good luck this weekend in France.

Isn’t 2019 the year to really start hyping things as it’s when the new Chevrolet’s entry of the 24 Hours of LeMans will be the all new C8.R Corvette which will feature a mid-engine layout for the first time for the Corvette.
I don’t think any team can afford to hype before a 24-hr. Le Mans race. It’s a fickle event and 24 hours of racing is hard on both car and drivers. Just to finish a race is an achievement in itself.
Even though I’d like to see the C7.R do well in GTE-Pro class I still want AM to finish first. In reality I think the RSRs will clean up again (no BoP changes).
Wait and see.
Those 24 hours are a real team effort. Not only because each car has tree drivers rotating driving stints, but also the technical and other staff in the box.
“To finish first, you have first to finish” is the good old rule.
