Buick has rolled out a new advertisement for the 2018 Enclave crossover SUV. This time, the brand’s ad agency steps away from “That’s a Buick?” and focuses more on what the Enclave offers.
Specifically, it’s all about family-friendly amenities. The spot focuses on a family traveling as the children in the back continue to ask questions along the way. It’s a fun play on the classic “Are we there yet?” line. Through the 30-second spot, the children ask countless questions about the car that just so happen to highlight the 2018 Enclave’s numerous features.
It all wraps up with a campsite, a bear and just a little bit of humor along the way.
Analysts have praised Buick ads in recent years for helping ditch the brand’s elderly stigma, which began with the “That’s a Buick?” spots years ago. Buick’s crossover portfolio can also take credit for the turnaround in North America. While Cadillac offers just one crossover and the Escalade SUV, Buick has built out its portfolio with the Encore, Envision and Enclave.

Starting to see some more new Enclaves on the roads recently.
The dealer inventory build for this new model was slower than anticipated. Maybe because the Chevy Traverse is built in the same factory, and GM targeted more production for that vehicle initially.
I think sales for the new Enclave will soon take off.
Its really a good looking vehicle especially in person. That factory may need to start running 24/7 if its not know.
Enclave, good.
Commercial, not so much.
Not sure what’s going on with Buick’s advertising (Regal, now this …), but it’s just not very good lately. Kind of in that C-/C/C+ range.
And – probably the only time we’ll see it without a :12 offer for well-qualified buyers.
I like this ad. However there’s a minor error at the last second. When the Voiceover asks about the Buick it’s fun that the Dad answers ‘Yes’ but he should glance at the camera when doing so.
The 2018 Buick Enclave is the modern interpretation of a large sedan or station wagon as it can probably fit 6 adults with good comfort; the only downside is fuel mileage as the Buick Enclave could do with possibly a diesel engine or hybrid.
Sure, fuel economy can always be better/higher… but at what cost?
Diesel seems to be a dying technology, although it’s completely good and capable of delivering great fuel economy.
Hybrids are gaining in popularity, but add not-insignificant cost to the final product that either gets passed on to the consumer (in turn making the vehicle more expensive) or that the automaker absorbs (cutting into margins).
As it stands, the Enclave is one of those models that does everything well… and its fuel economy is actually very good for its size.
yes it is very good looking in and out much better than some of the foreign crap. but should have seating options, 2nd row bench seat not only buckets
