Hennessey Performance Engineering made quite a splash when it revealed the 1,000-horsepower Exorcist Camaro, based on the Camaro ZL1. But, the tuning company will also make any Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 1LE into a rocket, too.
New video shows the Exorcist Camaro ZL1 1LE in action on the track, at the drag strip and few beauty shots for good measure. The standard Camaro ZL1 1LE keeps the 650 hp 6.2-liter LT4 supercharged V8 engine, but HPE works its magic to push power to four figures.
Included in the Exorcist treatment are a larger, higher flowing supercharger and intercooler system producing 14 psi of boost pressure, ported factory cylinder heads, camshaft upgrade, longtube stainless steel headers, high-flow air induction system and custom engine management calibration, too.
We don’t have official specs on the Exorcist Camaro ZL1 1LE, but the regular Exorcist Camaro ZL1 will sprint to 60 mph in less than three seconds, and dispatch the quarter mile in fewer than 10 seconds. Grab a look at the machine in the video above.

Get in the “Ring” John, you know the numbers to beat!
The only time to visit Hennessey is possibly when your GM warranty has lapsed and even then you might want to think twice as one just can’t tell how much of a beating that their aftermarket kits do to a car because GM engineers probably thought about some of the things Hennessey have done and then decided against it.
