2015 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 Selling For Just $39,900

Various fifth-generation Chevrolet Camaro variants are becoming quite the used-car bargains. Before the 2018 Camaro ZL1 1LE came along, there was only one variant that would do for all-out track decimation: the Camaro Z/28.

Now, it appears the fifth-generation Z/28 is quite the bargain because New York-based Healey Ford is selling a 2015 model for just $39,900. That’s sixth-generation Camaro SS territory.

The car is nearly brand new with only 2,700 miles on the odometer and features the air conditioning delete option. The speaker system was also an option. Instead, the Camaro Z/28 honed its track skills with a 7.0-liter LS7 V8 engine good for 505 horsepower paired with a manual transmission. This 2015 model also features the Z/28’s 305 tires, carbon ceramic brakes and functional aero pieces. Like the Camaro ZL1 1LE (and the Chevrolet Colorado ZR2), Multimatic DSSV dampers are in place.

When new, the Camaro Z/28 commanded prices well over $70,000. Depreciation has not been kind to the Z/28, but with such limited production, it’s likely a matter of time before the cars begin to appreciate in value.
