The Midwest has had, well, a nearly inexistent spring season thus far. Nevertheless, Lingenfelter Performance Engineering still plans to celebrate the season with its annual Spring open house event.
Attendees will have the chance to view 180 collector cars housed within the Lingenfelter collection, and as always, the event simply asks for donations at the door. All proceeds will go to the American Cancer Society this year.
Activities at the 2018 spring open house will include drawings and door prizes, poster signing by Ken Lingenfelter and a start-up of the collection’s Ferrari Enzo.
Additionally, Genovation will bring its GXE electric supercar to the event. The GXE, based on a C7 Corvette, boasts 800 horsepower from an all-electric powertrain. It’s also the world’s first street-legal electric car to surpass 220 mph. The event will also include a host of other fun activities and food vendors.
Mark your calendars for April 28 and check out a teaser for the open house at the link here.

Nice event. Do the cars change? I attended last year.
