Buick Enspire Electric Concept SUV Reveals Its Stunning Good Looks

Buick has done it again and delivered another stunning concept vehicle. And this time, it’s an SUV. Buick revealed the Enspire electric SUV concept on Tuesday before the vehicle makes its way to the 2018 Beijing Auto Show next week.
Without divulging too many details, Buick said the Enspire features the brand’s eMotion electric propulsion technology. We’re not sure what that all includes, but the Enspire will go 370 miles on a single charge and makes 550 horsepower. The concept also supports fast and wireless charging. With the proper plug, 80 percent of the battery’s capacity can be charged in just 40 minutes.
Moving right along to the Enspire’s design, it’s pretty striking. If the Avista concept came back as a utility vehicle, it would certainly look something like this. The front fascia sports an Avista-esque look with crisp and edgy headlights, and Buick’s winged-element grille piece is integrated into the headlights themselves. The round rear end also pairs with some hard edges, especially at the corners and in the taillights. The lighting element itself stretches all the way across the rear end and makes for a delightful and elegant view.
From the sole photo of the interior, Buick envisioned (pun intended) a futuristic cockpit. Ahead of the driver is an OLED screen and an intelligent augmented-reality head-up display system provides greater information. Buick did not mention any self-driving car technology, though. To keep things luxurious, natural woodgrain and suede don various portions of the cabin.
Buick is said to have a Bolt EV-based electric vehicle in the pipeline, but the Enspire appears larger than Chevrolet. Nevertheless, the Enspire could preview Buick’s future electric-vehicle design language. But we certainly hope it previews a production SUV, too.

I’d take a Vegas bet of the following…This IS a re-skinned Chevy “FNR-X” (not to be confused with the “FNR” w/o the “X”) concept which debuted in China as a PHEV…
The bigger question is, was the performance oriented crossover-like image shown to dealers in Las Vegas a Chevy FNR-X? Will it have figures at all close to the Enspire’s?
Buick Enspire Electric Concept SUV demonstrates that an electric vehicle can be sexy and powerful; but if the Enspire goes into production, it won’t come cheap as buyers need to expect a minimum price of $75-90K.
