Over the past few days, we’ve shared with you the list of colors in which the all-new 2019 Silverado and 2019 Sierra light-duty trucks will be available. Now, it’s time to compare the color palettes of both trucks.
An thorough comparison performed by GM Authority reveals that GM’s all-new full-size trucks share ten of the same exterior colors, with one unique hue.

In the meantime, stay tuned to GM Authority’s coverage of Silverado news and Sierra news.

I’m really hoping that Oakwood is a dark green, but it’s probably an old man’s beige. Can we get some real colors, GM? RAM has a ton of actual colors, not 3 shades of gray and 2 shades of white.
And 2 shades of red. Crusty old men with no imagination still pick GM colors, the same men that have for decades.
A woman is running the company. So maybe it is a crusty old woman problem.
I couldn’t agree more! The only reason that White and silver are so popular is that is what the dealers order. This is true for all dealers Ford, Ram, Toyota and GM. I like the blues and reds that are being offered, although I still prefer green. The problem is you want a truck with a certain configuration and you want to take advantage of the latest $10,000 discount, and the only ones the dealer has with the discount are white, sometimes silver and once in a while black. If they have a blue one it isn’t ever a fully loaded model with the max towing package. Very frustrating! I am actually considering ordering a new 2019 or 2020 Sierra so I can get the configuration I want in the color I want, which probably means not getting the big discount.
When I ordered my ’03 Silverado, two weeks later the salesman can’t find it in the factory list. GM kicked out my truck order thinking it was just dealer stock and the factories were now busy, when the salesman told the area rep that it was for a customer order, he was told too bad, once the order is kicked out, it goes to the back of the line, maybe in three months it will be built. I ended up with one close to the one I ordered that the salesman found and did a dealer trade for it. Discount was the same ordered or off the lot though.
