2019 Chevy Spark: Specific Updates & Changes Detailed

Last week, Chevy surprised many by revealing an update to the Spark city car. The 2019 Chevy Spark refresh includes a slight revision to the front-end appearance, along with various other changes and updates. At the time of the announcement, we only had the highlights of what is changing, but now we have the complete details courtesy of the official order guide (see it at the link below).

2019 Chevy Spark Exterior Updates

Arguably the biggest, most noticeable changes to the 2019 Spark are to its exterior: a restyled front-end delivers a new fascia, grille, and headlamps on LS, 1LT and 2LT models. Additionally, projection-style headlamps are added, as are LED daytime running lamps (on 1LT and 2LT).

It’s worth noting that the Spark Activ model does not see these appearance changes, as they are limited to the LS, 1LT and 2LT trim levels of the Spark.

There are also revised wheel designs for the LS and LT models in the 15-inch sizes and four new exterior colors:

Deleted colors:

  • Sorbet exterior color
  • Brimstone exterior color
  • Mint exterior color
  • Splash exterior color

New colors:

  • Orange Burst Metallic
  • Passion Fruit
  • Caribbean Blue Metallic
  • Raspberry

2019 Chevy Spark Interior Updates

Inside, the updates to the 2019 Spark are two-fold: the prior models’ USB port and auxiliary jack are replaced with two illuminated USB data ports. In addition, the cabin will now be lit by the True White color.

2019 Chevy Spark Technology Updates

On the technology front, the 2019 Spark replaces the Chevrolet MyLink infotainment system with the new third-generation system, now simply called Chevrolet Infotainment. At seven inches (measured diagonally), the screen size remains the same as on the 2016-2018 models.

Finally, Low Speed Forward Automatic Braking is added to the Driver Confidence Package. Available on the Spark 2LT with the CVT automatic transmission, the package also includes Forward Collision Alert and Lane Departure Warning.

And that does it for what’s new for the 2019 Chevy Spark. Use the links below to see the model’s order guide, RPO-level change list, specifications and pictures.

The updates and changes described here are specific to the U.S. market and may be different for other markets.
