For $40,000 over MSRP, one buyer can have a 2019 C7 Corvette ZR1 today. That’s correct, this seller is asking almost $200,000 for an ever-so-slightly used Corvette ZR1.
It’s quite a chunk of change over the base $119,000 MSRP for a Corvette ZR1, and still much more than a fully-optioned ZR1 with the ZTK performance package and other goodies, which rings in at $155,000. But, since the GM Bowling Green plant is currently building scheduled orders, it will be a while before anyone will have the chance to actually purchase a ZR1 from a dealership’s inventory. So this listing is instant gratification at its finest.
The seller states there are 238 miles on the Torch Red Corvette ZR1 coupe and it also features the aforementioned ZTK performance package, which includes a front splitter, specific chassis and Magnetic Ride Control with special tuning, as well as Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires. And, of course, the 6.2-liter LT5 supercharged V8 engine resides under the hood making 755 horsepower and 715 pound-feet of torque and, in this particular car, it’s mated to the eight-speed automatic transmission.

LOL! Let it sit until the tires are dry-rotted and flat.
You shitting?????? It will rot, at this price!!!!!!!!!!
I think people like this should be taken outside and shot! If he didn’t want the Corvette then he should of decided now to buy it. Now one less person has their ZR1 to enjoy
We live in a free country. The owner can ask whatever he wishes. Like my comment above states, just let it sit and rot.
See, this one of the reasons I yawn every time a new Douchette super edition debut. Just take it back to Bowling Green and throw it in the sinkhole with the others….
While we may find this type of behavior outrageous, this is something that happens every day with just about anything as there are people willing to pay an extra to be first or just so they don’t need to wait; the seller is simply taking advantage of human weakness.
