Thieves Make Off With Two Corvettes From Michigan Chevrolet Dealership

Dearborn, Michigan, police responded to Les Stanford Chevrolet to find two Corvettes had been stolen.

A 911 call placed at 3:00 a.m. on Wednesday said a van was spotted pushing a Corvette from a storage facility and noted damage to the front gate to allow access.

Police believe just the two Corvettes were stolen, but The Detroit Free Press reported that one Corvette was recovered on Detroit’s west side.

Other information on the suspected thieves and their whereabouts are not known at this time. The recovered Corvette’s condition wasn’t discussed either.

Local police have encouraged anyone with information to call police at 313-943-2241
