Holden has launched the first batch of advertisements for the 2018 ZB Commodore as the brand continues to brush off old perceptions and transition from local manufacturer to full-line importer. The biggest task? Convince consumers the imported 2018 Holden Commodore is still Australian in nature.
The ad campaign, titled “For Sure,” links the car’s roots to modern day through a series of life moments with the ad’s cast. The main ad spot runs for 60 seconds, while variations will run for 30, 7, and 6-seconds as well.
“We’ve got confidence that the all-new Commodore range will deliver for Australian families; and we’re excited our new campaign ‘For Sure’ brings that to life,” said Holden executive marketing director Mark Harland.
The campaign is the second batch of work from The Monkeys, which won the Holden contract last year. The firm debuted its first work with the launch of the 2018 Holden Equinox.
Holden has also worked tirelessly to urge drivers to drive the 2018 Commodore, hoping that their pre-determined expectations will shift in the process. The 2018 Commodore is on sale locally now.
Well, Hillary’s PR team needs new work, somewhere, right?
Damn that’s a good looking car!
