The Holden Colorado LSX does not house an LS engine, but it does haul in additional design elements, and for its follow-up act, a host of blacked out elements.
The brand revealed the 2018 Holden Colorado LSX on Friday, which builds on the special edition’s success after its initial debut in 2015. Alongside the Colorado’s standard nearly 4-ton towing capacity and shift-on-the-fly 4WD system are various black accessories to spruce up the truck’s exterior. 18-inch black alloy wheels, black fender flares and a black grille contrast the Colorado LSX’s white exterior hue.
At the rear, the Colorado LSX boasts a soft tonneau cover and a “Colorado” decal on the tailgate.
“Colorado LSX combines some of our most striking and impactful accessories – inspired by the 2016 Colorado Xtreme concept car – while maintaining exceptional customer value,” Holden marketing chief, Mark Harland, said.
In total, Holden will offer just 1,000 of the pickups—800 crew cab pickups and 200 crew cab chassis. The truck goes on sale on March 12 for $44,990 AUD, or about $35,000 USD.

When are truck manufacturers going to make a bare bones pickup that opens up millions to be able to afford a work only pickup. All I see is option laden trucks with just more stuff to eventually or quickly fail.If someone wants all that stuff sure…let them have it…. but there’s a market for trucks that are thousands less.
They actually sell bare bones work trucks if that is what you want. They can come in at dealers for close to $20k if that is what you want.
I have seen incentives on the, even down to $18,900 on close out extended cab base model two wheel drives.
While $20k is twice the$9,999 that the S10 base was you need to also consider you can’t even buy a Spark for that price.
Dealers can get cheaper models but they are not the models that sell easily or make much money as options are profits.
The models are the but you are not going to sell much outside of fleet use.
Just because they are not on the lots does not mean they are not offered.
Guy I work with wanted a base model pickup in silver, had to wait till it was built.
Had he paid more for the optioned up model, take your pick buddy we have row after row of them, not many base models are sold retail.
