Cumulative U.S. sales of GM’s Chevrolet brand decreased 8.8 percent to 149,605 units in February 2018.
Retail sales decreased 13.5 percent or 16,961 units to 108,246 vehicles, representing 72.4 percent of total Chevrolet sales in February 2018. That compares to 125,207 retail sales in February 2017, which represented 76.3 percent of total Chevrolet sales.
Fleet sales increased 6.4 percent or 2,471 units to 41,359 vehicles, representing 27.6 percent of total Chevrolet sales in February 2018. That compares to 38,888 fleet sales in February 2017, which represented 23.7 percent of total Chevrolet sales.

- Chevrolet Bolt EV sales increased 49.58 percent to 1,424 units, representing its best-ever February sales performance
- Chevrolet Equinox sales increased 7.07 percent to 24,053 units, representing its best-ever February sales performance
- Chevrolet Traverse sales increased 10.22 percent to 11,548 units, representing its best-ever February sales performance
- Chevrolet Trax sales decreased 6.62 percent to 6,169 units
- Chevrolet Camaro sales decreased 21 percent to 3,680 units
- Chevrolet Caprice sales decreased 72 percent to 7 units
- Chevrolet Colorado sales increased 7.06 percent to 8,050 units
- Chevrolet Commercial Truck sales increased 16.37 percent to 796 units
- Chevrolet Corvette sales decreased 35.08 percent to 1,351 units
- Chevrolet Cruze sales decreased 16.22 percent to 12,875 units
- Chevrolet Express sales increased 16.22 percent to 6,111 units
- Chevrolet Impala sales decreased 53.44 percent to 3,336 units
- Chevrolet Malibu sales decreased 4.16 percent to 11,890 units
- Chevrolet SS sales decreased 93.15 percent to 17 units; production of the vehicle was discontinued in 2017
- Chevrolet Silverado sales decreased 16.28 percent to 42,282 units
- Chevrolet Sonic sales decreased 49.49 percent to 1,081 units
- Chevrolet Spark sales decreased 6.5 percent to 2,000 units
- Chevrolet Suburban sales increased 27.59 percent to 5,004 units
- Chevrolet Tahoe sales decreased 9.3 percent to 6,948 units
- Chevrolet Volt sales decreased 45.99 percent to 983 units
In the first two months of 2018, Chevrolet U.S. sales decreased 2.58 percent to 291,552 units.

Comment
Sales increases of Equinox and Traverse aren’t enough to off set drops in sedans and virtually every other products sold by Chevrolet.
CR and other industry giants rank Cruze and Malibu in the top three; Volt and a well made product: Chevrolet is still a damaged brand, and even the heartland can’t bring the Bowtie above 72 percent retail.
Barra and Co must developed a plan to revitalize Chevy. The brands troubles in Korea, India and S Africa speak to Chevy’s failure to find new roads at home or abroad.
