C4 Corvette “Go-Kart” Is One Wild Project Car, Seeks A New Home: eBay Find

It’s not every day a 1984 C4 Corvette “go-kart” surfaces for sale. Today, however, is that day.

For sale on eBay is this hand-built Corvette go-kart of sorts with a full tube chassis and a small-block V8 producing 500 horsepower. The seller notes the final weight is just 2,182 pounds. That’s a recipe for a whole lot of fun.

With just the chassis completed, the go-kart is ready for a simple windshield or a custom body, depending on what the new owner’s plans are. We imagine oh so many possibilities with this “naked” Corvette of sorts.

There’s a laundry list of new parts installed and the car is turn-key ready with $25,000 worth of work, according to the seller.

Right now, the top bid is $14,000 with a week remaining in the auction. Who wants a new toy for springtime?

  2. This project was started long before Leroy but you are correct, it doesn’t do 8’s. But it was built on a working mans budget BY ME in my home shop without the sponsorship and labor of Precision Turbos, Monster Clutches, Texas Speed and Performance and Profab Performance.

Don’t hate, I’m just trying to do it for dale brother!
