Buick is doing its owners a solid and handing out a month of free 4G LTE Wi-Fi for owners during the NCAA March Madness tournament.
The Buick brand has been an NCAA partner for years and actually skipped a Super Bowl ad this year to focus more on the NCAA. And the free Wi-Fi comes as CBS projects streaming views to increase dramatically. In 2017, the network reported streaming views increased 33 percent year over year to a total of 22.4 million hours of live online viewing.
To complement the free Wi-Fi, Buick has also rolled out a free NCAA Tournament app so drivers can have one place to listen to live audio. The app will be available during March Madness exclusively, and Buick owners with the built-in shop function will have access to it from the car itself.
Only owners who currently do not have an active Wi-Fi plan are eligible for the offer.

Episode 9ish of Season One of THIS IS US features the three kids (as adults) going back to a family cabin one last time. A nice shiny prominently presented Chevy rolls up to the cabin with the three adults.
One sibling in the Chevy looks at his phone — stunned — and Chevy says, “I can’t believe that your car has Wifi. So cool. What — am I living in the dark ages?!?”
Painful product placement. With the finesse of those phony ‘real people’ ads.
What — his phone has no signal but the car does?

When bought my last two GM vehicles, 2015 & 2016 you got I believe it was a three month trial or 10GB of data free…I like the idea of free trials as long as you enter your credit card…When the trial is up, you have one less reason to not sign up for it if you want it…
