Everyone knows the LS swap is the defacto engine swap, but coming across a 6.2-liter LS9 supercharged V8 engine is a little less common. But, there’s currently one for sale and it’s looking for a new home.
The seller on eBay says he or she removed the LS9 from a 2011 Corvette ZR1 and it has 27,102 miles as it stands. Included with the engine are the starter, alternator, AC compressor, steering pump, supercharger, ECM, engine wire harness, dry sump tanks and the mass air flow sensor.
Of course, this will be an easy swap into any C6 Corvette, but with some skill and elbow grease, it would be right at home in a number of other cars. And we think 638 horsepower would look good on many other vehicles other than a C6 Corvette.
Right now, the “Buy it Now” price sits at $18,995.
